When I heard the Melange Team on Etsy weekly challenge was TICKET,the first think that popped into my mind was a line from from a Beatles song"'she's got a ticket to ride". I remembered I had a an old London day travel ticket in my stash, then I pulled out some books and magazines from the late 60's to look for items to go with the theme. The image on the right is a gel image transfer from a 1969 time magazine regarding travel to London, the girl is Twiggy, I know all the boomers remember her is from a book I had from 1966, the stamped birds are a reference to the 60's when girls were called 'birds'.a vintage button and other stamped images complete this piece. After completing it and studying it for a while I realized it looks very much like collaged I did in the 60's......the more things change the more they remain the same.
